Actions speak louder than words... Side note: dedicated to Pino. *jokes* I'm actually really impressed with my boss. He's a man of action. One of my co-workers was nonchalantly talking about how it was too cold in the office because some of the vents were pointed down. My boss overhears this and half a day later, we have a vent/heating specialist in our office giving a quote (a rather pricy one) to see how much it would cost to change the system. A few workers complained that our "super state of the art phones" had a little static and sometimes (very very rarely) disconnected, so one week later, a shipment of the newest state of the art headset computer system phones arrive and the old ones are discarded. No hesitation or wait. No "suck it up." No "too bad for you." No complaints about how expensive it all is. Just action. I really admire people that don't just talk the talk. They walk the walk. Like I admire people that can intercede and pray really well (if there is such a thing), but you know, very eloquent and touching and Spirit filled prayers. But I'm even more impressed when someone lives the way Christ did, or tries to exemplify them through their actions. A more practical example: a lot of people trash talk in sports and talk about how good they are, or how they're going to whoop your butt, etc. *ahem.* But it doesn't matter how well you trash talk, or how good your comments are. What matters is the final score and how you play the game. It only matters who gets to hold the trophy at the end of the tourny, not who trash talked the most. Actions speak louder than words ever can. Good fellowshiping at CCF today. Good chilling with people. Good time at work. Good day lined up tommorrow with Youth on a Hill and work and movie and stuff.
