argh... Wow, this is so much harder than i thought it would be. Only 22 hours in and I've already been tempted so many times. Going on the usual "snack run" to Shoppers during break with my colleagues was difficult, and lunch time was even more difficult. I ended up just napping on my desk for lunch time instead of going to the kitchen. I spent my break times walking around outside and praying instead of munching on snacks. Still though...so hard. Wow. Speaking of prayer, I was reading Em's blog the other day and there's a really neat entry posted last Wednesday. I'm sure you've all been hearing about the whole purity thing stemming from CC and from other things as well, but I never knew that there had been people praying for it since before it started. I really believe that it's prayers like hers and others that started this whole "movement." Very cool. Another revival movement to really keep in your prayers too is Youth on a Hill. Initially, I didn't really know what it was and I thought it was just another praise nite. But last nite, I had a really good long talk with my little godsis Kat (who's coordinating it) and her passion and contagious vision for this revival really touched me. Ask me for more details. Too much to type but very cool indeed. Anyways, there are so many different things I want to share about since there are so many different blogs out there. It makes for a good read when you're really bored at work. And I'll try to get to the interesting issues later. Maybe I'll write more tonight but for now I gotta get back to my prayer for the fast. posted by jamescl | 8:06 PM
