Shining, shimmering, splendid!" - Aladdin Today, I was talking with some buddies at work about long weekend, and a bunch of them are like flying away to different countries for a few days, and travelling here and there. 4 or 5 of my coworkers are leaving in july or august to go to either Europe, Middle East (Egypt), Australia, or Asia for long vacations, and different people are flying to different places for fun. A whole bunch of my close friends are either away at a different country or are leaving soon, and meanwhile I'm stuck here doing work every single day and finding myself becomming busier and busier as time progresses. I really want to go somewhere. I've only been to Hong Kong, a little bit of Europe when I was younger, Canada and some of the States. My dad wants to take me to Asia (mainly China) when I graduate so i'm kind of "saving" that for him. That leaves me with the rest of Europe, South America, Middle East, and maybe Australia that I really want to check out! I really really want to go. What's the point of saving up all this money so that I can buy a nice house and nice car later? I just want to go and see the world so badly now! So I decided to go fly to San Francisco from July 3rd to 8th (since I get the 4th of July off, and not the 1st.) But then when I got home, I looked at my schedule, I realized I have three softball games that weekend, have to meet up a couple friends, have CCF and have all these things I have to do. Was talking to Lyds earlier about guarding time jealously, and I've totally been doing a really poor job of that. So horrible, no time for anything anymore. I hate it. I wanna get out of here, if even just for a weekend. Oh, side note: quick poll, cause I'm too lazy to start up a poll at the side. But is the music taking too long to load and does anyone not like it, or should I keep on putting up different music?! I know a couple people told me it takes up too much bandwidth, especially for those with phone line. Put a comment voting whether you want to keep hearing music or no more music on my site! Misc. notes: One of my clients today I found out has a website http://www.mathewsmark.com. Very strange Matt!! Oh, anybody want to go to New York, maybe on a weekend for like 4-6 days?! Plane tickets are dirt cheap and it'll be fun to get out of the city! Let me know! Ok, no work tommorrow, so I can actually stay up tonight! Must get off and blog before 12 though.
