simple love... Special guest blogger with me today: Jonny Henson. Jon's just staying the night after an interesting night of...fun. Should make for some good sharing tonight. So it's going to be a short blog today. Went to Unionville fair today, and that was pretty nice. So Kar and I were standing there listening to this band play (they were really good!), and people were just walking around left and right. These two really cute little kids (probably around the ages of 6 and 8 years old) were walking in front of us with their mom. The younger of the two kids drops his ice cream on the ground and starts crying like there's no tommorrow. So his mom looks around helplessly, frantically trying to locate another ice cream stand. Then the older brother does something that I think was so neat. He looks his little brother in the eye and offers him his own ice cream. No nagging from the mom. No reluctance. No "fine-here-you-go-crybaby" attitude. No not-again. No hesitation. Just love. Wow. posted by jamescl | 4:14 AM
