Weekend... G'morning. Sorry, seems like all my blogs alternate between depressing ones and then updates of what I've been doing. So since last one was semi-negative, that means it's time for an update. [Friday] Had work all day then went out for dinner at Swiss Chalet with Jon H. Had a really good talk about some of the issues that were bothering us and just to kind of update our prayer requests list. Got the usual double leg chicken. So good!! Afterwards, we had a craving to play softball but since everyone was away at summer conference (our church retreat which I didn't go to because I thought I had to work Monday) or at fellowship, we just ended up chilling outdoors for a while. Met up at night with Karen for bubbles and it was so sweet seeing her again and we just talked for a long time cutting each other off while sharing stories and stuff. Afterwards, went to Timmys to meet Lil and Jon and chatted more with them since she just got in from Windsor. Came home dead tired and stayed up to talk to Chrys for a while and ended up falling asleep almost on my keyboard. =) [Saturday] Woke up at 9:30 for softball practice and it was a lot of fun. We just kept on playing from 10:30 until 3:30 and then afterwards went with the entire team to Moxy's for lunch. After that we chilled around Fairview for a while and went shopping and some of them had to go after that. The rest of us went to York Mills to play basketball and then we played more softball after the 6pm game was done there and played until it was dark at 10. Walked Francine home (since she's such a superstar) and then went to Congee Wong for dinner. Jon H came over to sleepover and we chatted for a while, watched "What Women Want" on the computer and then fell asleep. Really tiring but fun day!! [Sunday] Went to RHCCC in the morning since everyone at ETCBC was away at summer conference and it was really cool seeing everyone again. I really missed a lot of them. The speaker for that day was Andrew Wong, whom some of you might remember from a previous blog. He's someone that I've known since grade 1 and always had a passion for pastoring and I think this was his first sermon. It was really encouraging to see someone my age and that I've known all along and throughout the years; seeing him so mature and so passionate for Jesus and really seeking after what He wants. That was pretty cool. Afterwards, we stuck around and I got to talk to a lot of old friends and really sit down and talk with my lil godsis Kat and see what God has been doing in her life lately and that was really encouraging as well. Went out to lunch with some UWCCFers at Taste of Japan and then afterwards to Markville to do some quick shopping. Jeff, Lil, Jon and Peggy came over afterwards and we went swimming in my pool in late afternoon, then finally came home and just got to rest a bit and chatted a bit with Kar. Went to a 24/7 meeting at night and worshipped a while there. Excited to see what God's going to do for it. Please keep 24/7 (this Saturday at 7pm at RHCCC) in your prayers. [Monday] Happy birthday to my mom!! Went out for dim sum this morning and going out later for dinner as well. Need to get some sleep cause I have to work lots tommorrow.
