Sad times... In the past two days, three people very dear to me have lost people very dear to them. I have no eloquent writings that I can write to comfort them, no artistic skills, that I could make them a gift, no super amazing eloquent prayers that could warm their hearts, not even enough time or money that I could drive/fly out of town and visit all of them in their respective places right now. But I will promise to be a shoulder to lean on, to continually pray for them and their families, to encourage and support, to be available for anything and to love them as much as I can. You three know that. My prayers and thoughts are with you and my heart breaks to see you so sad. I mourn with you through these times right now. But have hope for: "We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." - Romans 8:28 I know that you guys love Jesus; that is so evident. And so, I cling to this promise that God is working for the good of each of you and your families, and for that I rejoice. posted by jamescl | 11:12 AM
