Update... Sorry, I haven't been blogging for the past couple days, but it's been so action-packed and so busy. Here's a quick update on my recent activities: Sunday: had church and it was definately good seeing everyone back at ETCBC again, since it was Thanksgiving weekend. Also, Tammy jeh's been coming for the past couple weeks on a "trial basis" so it's been cool seeing her around. After church, we stalled Sharon around the church for a while, then my bro and I drove her back home where there was a surprise party waiting. She's such a silly girl!! She's had a surprise party for the past 3 years I believe, and every year she gets fooled. Before we left, we told her, "Sharon, we're telling you now: 'We're giong to surprise you next year!!'" She's like, "I know, but Ii'm still going to get tricked!!!" Ah, so silly!! Her mom (auntie Rose) was super nice and made us potato skins, chicken nuggets, these weird sausage things, potato cakes, and Liz even brought ice cream cake!! So good!!! After her surprise party, we went back home where we had our Oracles softball team come over for thanksgiving dinner. It was pretty sweet and David brought an entire turkey and they actually cooked it here. I was so impressed since it was so good!! We chilled, played ball, talked, caught up, studied, started spring training (j/k!!), signed balls and pictures for the team, and watched TV/movies. It was a good, good time, but didn't get any work done. Oh well, it was a much needed get-together. Monday: Woke up around noon, and went out to Pizza Hut to see Ang, Giz, JLiu, and the Waterloo gang, among others. We just chilled and ate and stuff, then I went home and attempted to study, but only accomplished a bit (though not nearly enough.) Went out a bit here and there to see people, but tried to study mostly, watched a bit of the game and back to studying. I discovered studying at Timmys for the first time, since there's a 24/7 one near my house, and I can't really study in my own house. I got there around 9:30ish, and it was absolutely packed with students, all with open books, chattering or studying away. It was insane. I ended up staying there until around 2, before going home, reading a bit more, and then sleeping. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: Let's sum this up in 3 words: studying, studying, and more studying. Spent all day Tuesday either in class or preparing for my midterms. I had two, one on Wednesday night, and one Thursday morning. Spent all Wednesday studying, and wrote my exam at night, and it went really well. It was actually much easier than I expected (which is good) but I think I overstudied, and didn't spend enough time for my Thursday exam (which is bad.) So I ended up staying downtown at Carns' place again and studied the entire night until 5am, napped for a couple hours, got up around 7ish, and went back to studying until my 11am exam. Went in and I think I did really well though!! So I'm really happy right now and just happy to have gotten it over with. Went out for lunch, and now I'm here at work blogging. Still going to be a busy night: have a meeting at 5:30, meeting friend for dinner at 7:30, and study group at 9 until late. More exams to come next week, starting Monday. Ugh. Anyways, that's my weekend. I'm running on 2 hours sleep so I must get back to work before I fall asleep. =) Updated 9:24pm: Thanks Em for reminding me of my daily birthday shout: Happy birthday to Steph Lo today!!! posted by jamescl | 2:29 PM
