Weekend...

Haven't done one of these updates in a while, so I'll let you guys know what happened this weekend.

After work on Friday, I picked up Jon Hui and Grace and was on our way to Queensway for the Hillsongs concert. Took the QEW in rush hour for the first time in my life, and it actually wasn't too bad, as we got there in 20 mins or so. When we got there, there was this huge lineup that went around the block. Alex and Gizzy saved us a spot near the front area so we kind of slipped in, and the people around us were totally cool with it. But later on in the lineup, all these people tried to bud in and people started getting all pissed off. They'd been waiting there since as early as 12:30 in the afternoon (7 hours!!!) and now, people were just slipping in?!! There was some yelling, some arguing, and so on so that wasn't the most pleasant thing to see at a Christian concert. Nonetheless, the concert itself was very good. I was talking to Grace afterwards, and it's more of a concert, instead of worship night, so it's only really good if you knew the songs, etc. But I totally enjoyed it and yea, had a really good time at the concert and was something I totally needed. Afterwards, we went out to Kelseys nearby to eat dinner, while we waited for Joe, Gar and Mon who went to the second session (since the lineups were too long.) Drove home in the crazy rain that night too, but got home safely.

On Saturday, I went out with a buddy and went to Pacific Mall, Markville and friends' house during the day, went to the library for a while and went out for dinner with my parents. That was definately interesting. It was just me and my parents, and we went to a really nice Jap resteraunt and the majority conversation during dinner was me getting a girlfriend. Oh my!! They were telling me good girls they liked, how my bro's dating, and like what characteristics to look for, etc. So funny!!! I talked to Carny/Karen on the phone later that night, and the irony, both their parents had talked to them too about it that day!! So weird!! National-talk-to-your-kids-about-dating day.

Sunday, went to church and chilled a lot with ETCBC people after and it was really good catching up with them and stuff. Went out for lunch at Wendys and chilled and talked, then came home to study/nap. Went to TCMC for the AFC TC reunion because I had to drop off stuff for my brother and pick up his guitar to bring home and stuff. It was okay, just worship and TC sharing and stuff, nothing too special. Saw superstar Jen too, so that was really cool. She's such a super super funny and cool girl and we had good times joking around. Went over to Ameals after to watch survivor with her and Rich, and Jed, Amelia's "sweetheart" got voted off. She was so pissed off!! =) Ghandia's really pissing everyone off too with her crazy escapades and demand for attention. Came home, and both Ang and Grace called me so had long long talks with them and got caught up a bit. Glad to hear from them again and to hear they're doing well at Queens. It's Sunday night, and I'm already counting down days until next Friday.

Anyways, have to finish readings and sleep soon. I'm so tired. Nites.
