Update... My apologies for the lack of updates; it's been an extremely busy week. I finished up that killer essay, studied to catch up in my courses, and went to see old friends I'd neglected. Anyways, I still have to do tons of work, and I'm just doing a quick update at work right now. Things are going quite well, and I'm pretty content with things right now. I'm feeling some kind of stability right now, which is what I want. OB (organizational behaviour) class on Monday was probably one of the best lectures I've ever had. The lecture was on discusion, so she broke us up into different teams, and we did team games, which emphasized communication. I always thought I was decent at communication, but I learned how bad I was (as well as others too) at it. She told us, that the fundamental human error associated with communication, is that we are self-centered (with various degress of self-centeredness.) For example, when we are in conflicts and arguments with one another, instead of listening to the other side's arguement when they are talking, we're deriving our next rebuttal and thought in our head, that will make our argument better. Anyways, it was a really good class, and I really had fun with the games. Anyways, I gotta get back to work now, and tonight, I definately have to finish some readings, but I'm also going out to shoot pool and work out. About time!!
