The Good Ol' Hockey Game...

Oh, the good ol' hockey game, is the best game you can name. And the best game you can name, is the good ol' hockey game.

So went to Leafs game on Sunday, and even though we ened up losing to Nashville, which was rather pitiful, it was still a really fun game. The seats were really good (golds) and there were ten penalties all against Toronto in the game. There were lots of chanting, booing, hissing at the refs, a penalty shot, disallowed goal, big checks, misconducts, 7 goals, and a lot of entertainment despite the loss. Anyways, it was a fun time.

Staying on the hockey theme, I went to hear Bob Goodenow, president of the NHLPA today at Rotman speak about the art of negotiation to the MBAs. I got to talk to him a bit and he talked a bit about hockey and the evolution of the game, as well as players' salaries, though he didn't common on thoughts about the upcoming 2004 CBA.

And after the seminar, I went back to res and watched the Leafs whoop the Islanders 5-2, so a good day indeed. I think I found a career I would love: sports agent, players association rep, or some sort of job that combines my current studies (human resources and negotiations) with my passion (sports.) That would be really cool.
