Reading Week... Well, after my retreat, I can sum up my past couple days with two words: sleep and TV. Been waking up early afternoon, then taking naps in late afternoon, and going to sleep at night again. It's great!! In between, there's a bit of eating, and a lot of TV. Watched Joe Millionaire last night, and Zora won. It wasn't a great ending, and I had a feeling that he was either a millionaire previously, or the show would award him the money so that he could "make his dream come true" and be a millionaire. So it wasn't the "shocking finale" that I anticipated, but decent nonetheless I guess. I kind of figured she'd say yes anyways. (I mean, who would say no on national television and basically declare that you were a goldigger.) Anyways, Zora's a wonderfully sweet girl, and I'm glad she won. Also watched the Michael Jackson TV specials yesterday. It was interesting listening to his interviews and all the alleged scandals with abusing children and his claim that he just loves children. I guess there's a fine line that he kind of crossed when he shared a bed with the kids, but I do still like his music. He's definitely one of a kind. Today, I watched a good good Smallville, after two weeks of terribly aggravating and frustrating episodes. So good!!! And of course, I watched the Leafs win yet another game, and I just realized that if they make the Stanley Cup, I won't even be in town to watch it!!!! I spent a lot of time so far this week planning for the summer Asia trip and we booked our tickets today. I'm so excited, but I'll blog more about it later. I have to get up at like 6 something for work!! I guess I need to start saving up to go on that trip. posted by jamescl | 10:50 PM
