Embarassing Moments... Some funny, embarassing stories today: Embarassing story #1: So today I went downtown today holding my bags of clothes, shoes, books, food and other misc. stuff that I was bringing down since I'm stayinv over for a few days. Since my dad had a meeting around Yonge and Finch and didn't go downtown today, he dropped me off at Finch station, and it was one of the first times in a long, long time I've taken the subway. It's rush hour (around 7:45am) in the morning and tons of people are hustling and bustling about, and I take about three steps down the slushy stairs, and KAPUT! Down I go falling about four steps before clipping a lady who screams as she topples over and bumps into another guy who chucks his suitcase as he slips. The suitcase hits the floor with a thud hitting another guy in the shins and causing him to stumble when all is said and done, I'm sitting in the slush with three others and hold the undivided attention of 50 commuters or so. Oh my, that was so embarassing. Embarassing story #2: Another cell phone goes off in our economics history class (the most boring class of all) and it's the second one to go off in five minutes. This time, the prof's had enough and is really pissed off. Prof: Who's *bleepin'* phone is that?!!! Do you have no manners?! *goes on to rant as the phone continues to ring* *silence as the the phone continues to ring, and prof gets madder and madder* Prof: Allrite, that's it....I'm... Student: Errrr, sir, it's coming from your briefcase.... Prof: What??!! That's absurd...My ringer's broken, it can't... *realizes as he opens his briefcase it IS his phone* Prof: Errr...ummm......well, I guess my darn ringer's fixed.... We all burst into laughter and he was really embarassed. His face got all red and he got really flustered, and that was that. Anyways, today was a good day. Kind of weird, 'cause I didn't see any of my friends that I usually see on Tuesdays. (They were sick, skipped class, had other tests, etc.) But instead, I saw all these people that I haven't seen in months or even years on campus. Kind of weird, but I guess sometimes you're so comfortable with your surroundings and friends, that you neglect to keep your eyes open for other things that may be just as important. Anyways, lots of work to do. Umm, yea right, who am I kidding: I'm going to watch My Big Fat Greek Wedding. Nites all. posted by jamescl | 9:53 PM
