Finally, Mr. Groundhog!!!... Finally, after 42 days of excess freezing slippery, piercing cold weather, we had a nice warm non-blizzard weekend (42 days since the fuzzy little groundhog told us it was spring.) Gone were the ice skates, the parkas and bubble jackets, and huddling of the masses to stay warm. In it's place are short sleeves, kids licking away at ice cream, and masses of people walking outside in the beautiful sun. And so I sit watching this, confined to my little cubilcle at Unionville library. Desperately wishing I were there, not here. Staring blankly at pages and pages of compensation work that have absolutely no relevance in my life. (Or maybe I'm biased at the moment.) As I was walking around the library in a futile attempt to procrastinate, I saw a Bob the Builder video game that some kid left on. I never knew Bob the Builder had a video game!!! I knew he had books, toys, action figures, loot bags, and now, he even has his own video games. Must be a freakin' rich builder!!! What does he really build?!! And guess what you do in the video game?!! Bob plays games, such as putt putt golf!! He's supposed to be a builder, not a putter!! (And a darn good one at that!) Anyways, for the next hour and a half, while I was supposed to be working hard on my readings and assignments, Bob was nice enough to entertain me with his surprisingly fun games. On another note, anyone interested in this super bargain at ebay?? Baby, that's what I want for Christmas!! posted by jamescl | 11:58 PM
