Missionsfest... 
Chris and I with the fobby fingers So I went to Missionsfest today with some UTCCFers after worship at CCF and after grabbing a quick bite, (which for me and Joe were oily but filling street fries) we were off to Missionsfest program and worshipping with Chris Tomlin (worship leader). It was pretty good night overall: decent speaker and good worship, and not too short but not too long and didn't drag on. Above is Chris and I taking a stupid funny picture, since he earlier remarked how many asians there were at Missionsfest to me. (There were 5 times more asians then everyone else there at the concert.) Before taking the picture, a funny story involving a girl who was waiting in line to talk to Chris as people were lining up to talk and get autographs: Girl: *shyly* Ummm, Chris Tomlin?? Chris: Hey, what can I do for you? Girl: Errrr, I was wondering if you could record my voice mail message for me. Just say your name and my name's Jenny. *hands him phone* Chris: Umm, Hi, this is Chris Tomlin and you've reached Jenny's phone. Please leave a message. Girl: *happily* Thanks so much!! I had one of the guys from Capstones leave it before, but it got erased when I changed cell phones. Chris: Errrr, no problem I guess. Me: *jokingly* Hey Chris, wanna sing a song for my voice mail?!! Chris: *laughing* I don't know about that one! It was so jokes!!! The girl asked him to leave his recording as the voicemail greeting. If I were Chris, I'd be so embarassed!! My friends and I were joking about Chris and his "worship groupies." Anyways, it was a fun time looking around the booths. I even ran into a couple of my kids from when I was a counsellour at YSM and also a couple of the other counsellours. The kids are taller than me and everything now, but it was so good seeing them again and chilling with them. If you still want to go, Tomlin and Downhere are doing another concert tommorrow, so go check it out at the Metro Convention Centre. ($10 tickets) I'm off to bed.
