Weekend... 'Tis been a relatively good weekend. Been getting lots of sleep courtesy of my attempts at reading for my paper, watched the Leafs win in OT, celebrated Carolyn's birthday (happy early bday Care), chilled with buddies and had some good talks, shot pool and played jitz and was productive and finished lots of work. But this has to be a super short update since I have my 17 page essay due on Tuesday, which I am still currently on page 2. It took me forever to do the readings, and generally I don't mind readings or writing essays, but this time, it's got to be the most freakin' boring assigned topic in the world!! What topic is this you might ask?! Well, anyone ever written a paper on the history of the Bank of Canada? This includes, but is not limited to the entire freakin' history of bank interest rates for every year since 1900, rediscount rates, reserve ratios, fiscal and monetary policy from the Bank, gold holdings from the banks each year, exchange rate fluctuations, history and events centering the central bank formation, influential banking people along with the history of the initial chartered banks. Don't have a clue what I'm talking about? Consider yourself lucky. Ok, that's my rant. Sorry for the frustration; back to work now!! posted by jamescl | 10:41 PM
