Work... Well, I'm at work now and I must say, it's been much, much better lately. They've been trying to improve total company employee morale by having extended team breaks, and weekly company sponsored lunches with the entire company. So I came in today at 11:45 and was instantly greeted by members of my work team going out for Starbucks on break. So since I was part of the team, I joined them for free coffee there (even before I began working.) I got back and about half an hour of work (well, mainly just reading blogs and sports websites), it was our company weekly lunch, where they had lots of good free food. Another hour and a full stomach later and I'm back at work. So I've been here for about 3 hours today, but only done about an hour and a bit of work, and gotten all the free perks. I'm quite lucky since I only work about 3 or 4 hours a week but only have to work less than a couple hours while maintaining full pay. To say I'm quite happy at work is a slight understatement. Anyways, back to my empty inbox of work and surfing the internet. Hope your day is as enjoyable as mine is so far. posted by jamescl | 2:06 PM
