Commerce Formal... 
Well, last night, the UT Commerce formal was held at the luxurious Westin Harbour Castle and after much persuasion, I finally decided to go about 2 minutes before tickets were to stop selling. I wasn't really expecting much, which is always a good thing, since high expectations usually lead to huge disappointments. Anyways, went to get my hair cut in the afternoon (or when I woke up, which was like 1) and then spontaneously decided that I wanted to buy a digital camera. I'd been browsing around for a while, so I called up Joe and headed to Pacific Mall to look around. After a nice lengthy bargain with the store owner, I picked up a Canon S230 along with a bunch of accessories for a very reasonable price. Anyways, I digress. The formal was pretty fun, and though not spectacular, I had a really good time, since I didn't really expect too much anyways. There was lots of dancing and chatting, catching up with old friends and meeting new ones. It was nice to see everyone so dressed up as well, with their hair done, and make-up (although some definitely over-applied). All in all, a really good night.
