Dear Mother Nature, I'm writing you on behalf of Torontonians to inform you that April's Fool Day has passed. Yes, your practical joke was funny four days ago, but quite frankly, it isn't funny anymore. Pelting us with ice pellets, making us slip on glassy ice and step into nasty slush: really now, it's enough. Your little gag has totally inconvenienced our lives now: we've packed away our winter clothes, taken off the snow tires and turned off the heaters. Sunroofs were opened, softball gloves broken in and ready, and shorts and tees unpacked. I've been in anticipation of sun and fun for a while now, especially after your long cold winter.
