Recap... Well, it's been a great weekend full of fun and festivities. Saturday was mixer day as we had an ETCBC mixer and CCSA mixer occupying the whole day. ETCBC mixer was great as we mixed up the teams and played cheesy games in which we bonded and got to know each other better, followed by yet another BBQ after. (I think I've had a couple BBQs every weekend this past summer.) Sunday was a great day. I stayed up late Saturday night fielding calls from old friends, and was awakened early Sunday morning from friends halfway across the world calling bright and early to send greetings. I really missed talking to some of the people and it was great hearing from everyone again, especially those that I haven't talked with for ages. After church, we had lunch and then went to go watch Lions and Lumas play. With the Lumas winning again to remain undefeated and the Lions getting rained out, we set off to York Mills for our date with Soldiers II. They were a lot of fun, especially since we had different friends from that team as well so it was great playing with them and fellowshipping with them. I had to rush back uptown because it was my grandpa's Chinese birthday so we had a big family banquet dinner with the entire extended family at a Chinese resteraunt. We got there really late and had to change in the car but stayed for a while to eat and chill, then rushed back down to go to Vida's house, where she had graciously opened her house for my mini-party. Thanks so much Vida to you and your parents for also getting a nice cake and allowing 40 kids into your house late at night! =) Thanks to everyone for your wishes, cards, presents, e-cards, phone calls (especially the many out-of-country calls!) and just for taking time out of your busy weekends to spend with me. I really appreciate it and I don't take it for granted at all. Monday was a wonderful day doing what I do best: sleeping. Slept for a good 17 hours yesterday, then played Taboo 'till we couldn't stay awake anymore. That's what I call a great day!
