Weekend...

After a rather rough and long week, the past few days have really been great. I've been able to spend a lot more "me" time lately and just to relax more and to enjoy my summer a lot more. Work seems to fly by a lot more now (maybe because all I do is watch 722 and work on the Oracles website all day.) I've also been making good friends with some of my colleagues here so we've been having fun, and I guess time flies when you're havin' fun.

Saturday was our double header and after a shutout win, we squeezed by the Warriors to improve to 4-1. The teams are having a lot of fun, and it was great to see all of the Lumas all out to cheer us out, plus a couple of Lions as well. It's great playing in front of fans, and not so great when you're playing softball with no one watching. We went out to get Chinese food after, then they all came back to our house to play Mafia and watch TV. All in all, it was good chilling times.

Sunday, we dropped by the Lions game after lunch, then left to go to the Lumas' doubleheader. It was great cheering for them and watching them win both of their games to improve to 4-0. Congrats guys on playing great games and for all your great spirit and fun. I've really taken a liking to these kids and see so much spirit and potential in each of them.

Anyways, got home early last night (well, 11 is early for me!) and went to sleep almost right away, so I've had a good night's rest and am back at work today. Should be a good week this week as I have Tuesday and Thursday off, and I'm taking some of the kids downtown to UT for a campus tour and then over to CCF. If there are any first years coming into UT and want help with course selection/UT tour/picking up all your UT stuff and other miscellaneous things, then let me know ASAP.

Hope y'all had a great weekend as well and that God's really blessing your lives.
