Buffalo/Weekend...

So it's been a crazy fun weekend. Early Thursday, Joe, Gar, Will and I began our road trip to Buffalo for the Leafs game plus some fun. We checked in to our hotel and went downtown for dinner and the game. It was totally awesome as there were way more Leafs fans than Buffalo fans. Busloads and busloads of Maple Leaf jerseys flooded out of chartered busses. The pre-pub was packed with Torontonians and a good majority of our section were hardcore Leaf fans. The game was fun to watch, a high-scoring affair full of goals, fights, cheers and jeers. We had a good "Go Leafs Go" and "Eddie, Eddie" going throughout the game, much to the distaste from the relatively few Sabres fans. Even though we lost 5-3, it was still a fun time at the stadium. We ventured around at night in the entertainment district, ate until we were stuffed, and went back to the hotel for beers, tv, and cards. A good day to say the least.

Friday can be summed up in two words: shopping and Dennys. Buyin' tons of stuff and eatin' tons of food pretty much summarizes our entire day. At night, we went down to District for birthdays and Halloween fun, along with seeing massive street fights, interesting (and I mean interesting) costumes, and weird conversations. All in all, another good night as well.

The rest of the weekend pretty much passed with a blur of too much TV, too little studying, and a lot of fun. By the way, happy birthday to my brother, who turns 20 today. Have a good one Justin.

Sorry for the massively boring update, and hope your weekend was as fun and relaxing as mine.

(PS. - We're planning on buying tickets to go again for the Leafs game in Buffalo in early April. If you're interested, contact me before Nov. 17 - when tickets go on sale.)
