What Would You Choose?... In my human resource management class, we discussed the absolute worst jobs that we'd ever had. There were a few finalists that we narrowed the field down to. Which job do you think is the worst? a) one guy worked at FedX, where all he did was lift boxes off a conveyer belt and onto a cart - 2 breaks in 8 hours, all standing. b) one girl worked at McDs - horror stories abound - 'nuff said. c) one girl worked at an ice cream factory, where all she did was scoop ice into boxes so that machines could fill it with flavour - 2 breaks in 10 hours, all standing in freezing cold in extremely noisy background. d) one guy worked at Wonderland as the guy with the high-powered water bird crap remover. I think we chose c as the worst job. Freezing cold, couldn't hear anything, couldn't sit down and 10 hours of hell and boredom. After hearing all the jobs, I was suddenly very grateful for mine. =) posted by jamescl | 12:12 AM
