Random Thoughts... It's really cool how God works. The other day I was going to some studying while downtown but it was raining outside. Not wanting to get wet, I decided to stay in my building. I felt a prompting just to go upstairs and as I went up, I ran into a bunch of commerce buddies. We just chatted and the Oscars led to the Passion which led to Jesus Christ. And then a pretty neat thing happened. First, I discovered that a bunch of them whom I've known for a while were actually Christians all along. Even more cool was that the non-Christian there was so intrigued by Christianity. It was one of the moments as if God had set up that whole moment and placed you there so that He could work. Questions were asked, thoughts were discussed and in the end, a challenge issued. "Convert me", he defiantly proclaimed. Wow. Talk about getting slapped in the face. We're trying to arrange a time to meet up and see Passion and talk about Christ. I'm excited. On a related note, I was driving on the DVP today and listening to the Leafs game. (There's absolutely no relation to the above story - I was being sarcastic.) As the Leafs scored their second goal of the game, I immediately slapped down on the steering wheel because of force of habbit. The horn honked and simultaneously, another car honked next to me. I looked over and the guy was pumping his hands in the air and I shared a Leafs connection. Anyways, I can't wait for trade deadline day - Tuesday March 9th. They should make that day a national holiday. I'm planning on staying home all day flipping between TSN, Sportsnet on commercials and occasionally the Score when it's boring.
