Go Leafs Go... As the seconds ticked away and thousands of Leaf Nation members gleefully poured out of the ACC and surrounding community, excitement, rowdiness and drunkness all filled the air. We were decked out in our Leaf jerseys cruisin' in Will's car complete with the essential Leaf flag perched atop. (Note: the Leaflag is a must-have for every bandwagon - and real - fan to place onto their vehicles come playoff time.) Unfortunately, his horn was not working as car after car honked on Danforth n' Bloor. We saw flags everywhere, hockey sticks out windows, heads, jerseys, and um, I think I even later saw a rear end. I headed up to my buddy's apartment after where I was greeted by a group of drunk guys playing foot hockey in the lobby and spent my next ten minutes indulging in an old-school pastime. I was pretty good - in fact, I got invited to join a ball hockey league (with sticks, not feet of course). Good times indeed. Now, I'm at the library, I'm tired, it's almost 12 and it's time to forget about Eddie's stellar are-you-kidding-me saves, Lalime's not-so-stellar that-was-ugly flops, and Tie's bone-crunching hits.
