Let The Good Times Roll...

Things have been pretty good lately, except for the constant lack of sleep, the bloody noses while asleep (waking up to a pool of blood on your pillow is quite a traumatizing sight) and the allergies that I still haven't figured out what I'm allergic to. But barring those minor inconveniences, life has been pretty good.

Lions won their first game this past Sunday in a nailbighting-suspenseful-clutch-hitting-two-out-bottom-of-the- 8th-game-winning-hit thriller. It's been good seeing old friends again for the summer. Lots to do and so little time to do it all. Work has also calmed down a bit which is very nice. I actually get off work at reasonable hours now (5pm most days) instead of 9 or 10 at night every night. It's been great also having new friends at church lately.

And so much more is happening in the near future: Switchfoot concerts (still have a couple more tickets left if anyone's interested), downtown attractions (Wonderland gets us+friends free into CN, Hockey hall of fame, ROM, AGO, Casaloma, Science center + 100 other places), softball gatherings, and lots more. I think this is going to be my last free summer for a while, so might as well make the most of it.

Pet peeve of the day: I was swimming at Milliken pool today and going in the fast lane when the slowest woman on the earth was cooly wading in the lane. There was literally a line-up behind her waiting to pass. She wouldn't move to the slow lane either and gave us dirty glances when we passed her. It's like driving on the highway: don't drive on the fastest lane if you're going to do 70km/h.
