Update... Well, I'm sure many of you have been waiting a long time for this. Or, more probably, you just randomly came on this after not coming on here for a month and saw the new post. Who can blame you, as I haven't posted in a month now. I was actually contemplating a permanent hiatus from blogging or at least for the summer, but after some incessant nagging and a few pesky emails, here I am. So much has happened in the past while. The job has been crazy busy, but also full of fun and learning, and definitely a great experience. Among the perks included are free rides and go-karts anytime including break time, lots of free food and snacks and getting your many friends jobs for the summer. I truly do feel blessed to be working here. Another big thing is that I finally convocated this past Wednesday. Four years of hard work (or um, just four years) have finally paid off. It's probably the most expensive piece of paper I'll ever own in my life. Also for those of you who don't know, I've also decided to go to Queens university next year to work on my Masters degree. So things are lookin' up and I'm feeling tremendously blessed lately in my life. That's not to say that all of life has been peachy and rosy. I've noticed more and more lately that I'm becoming especially intolerant of people - in particular, cocky and cliquey people. Also people that are so fake on the outside and say one thing, but really their motives, their thoughts and their desires are in a totally different place. And there are so many people that expect you to act a certain standard to them (ie. always greet and welcome them) yet never recipricate that standard of care back to you. I guess lots of pet peeves and nuisances lately that I have been dwelling on lately. Anyways, it felt good to write here again. I'll promise to try to write here more. A few more things of note before I head off to bed. First softball game's tommorrow - looks like the season's kicking off again. May the Lord really bless this season and all the team's in it - not that their balls may fly farther and their swings be sweeter but that the Word be spread farther and His love be shone brighter. That truly is my prayer this year. Oh, and mark off July 10 on your calenders lady and gents. More to come later...stay tuned... posted by jamescl | 2:16 AM
