Sick/Tv... So lately, I've been sick - confined to my bed for the past couple days. Reading only perpetuates the problem by giving me massive migranes (ok, small headaches, but the alliteration for migranes sounds cooler) so I've resorted to watching muchos (my new word) TV. Gone are the days of having to get up to turn the little dial that changes channels or the days of having your friends alternate holding the antenna while you try to watch between the fuzzy lines. And as technology advances, the days of sitting there with your remote control skimming the digital satelite channels as you watch on your plasma high-definition TV are near. For me, the not-so-fortunate-or-wealthy student, that means downloading those HD programs and watching the series' on TV. So these past couple days have been a marathon of CSI (all three though LV is still the best), Joey, Las Vegas, and Desperate Housewives *ahem* (which I must say is surprisingly addictive.) You know the saying 'you are what you watch'? If that holds truth, then I'm a lovable dim-witted surveillance officer, stuck trying to solve a dead mystery in a perfect sub-urban American neighbourhood.
